he goal of the USAID funded Human Resources for Health (HRH) Kenya Mechanism is to strengthen HRH systems at the national and county levels to improve health outcomes for the Kenyan people. In order to strengthen its team, the Mechanism is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the following position:
Driver (2 positions)
Salary Range: Kes. 40,000 - 59,636
Summary of Role
The Driver will oversee the provision of reliable, secure driving services and proper use and maintenance of office vehicles, including front office duties and activity workshop logistics support.
On a daily basis ensure vehicle log sheets are duly completed and signed off by the travelers and monthly summaries are submitted to the Administration and Logistic Assistant
Provide administration support to the Administration and Logistics Assistant relating to Office vehicles management
Conduct regular inspection of all vehicles to establish that they are clean, roadworthy, secured, licensed and insured
Coordinate the maintenance and insurance of the office vehicles
Jointly with supervisor, ensure that vehicle maintenance spreadsheet is developed and monitored regularly to provide clear records on vehicle usage whenever needed.
Ensure fuel replenishment summary is done in a timely manner and accurate records maintained.
Ensures that the monthly reports on vehicle mileage, fuel consumption with allocation per tracking code, repairs and maintenance are in order for submission to Finance and Operations officer for approval.
Backstops the administration and logistics Assistant
Support activity logistics to the program focal persons in workshop and participants management such as; daily management of participants list, liaison person with hotel, addressing all workshop logistics challenges and reconciliation of invoices at the end of
Proof of training in defensive driving.
A training in fleet management/front office management/logistics management will be an added advantage.
