The Kakamega County Rural Water and Sanitation Corporation is an agency of the County Government
of Kakamega established under the Kakamega County Rural Water and Sanitation Corporation
Act, 2020. As a devolved unit under the County Government Act, 2012, the County Government of
Kakamega has initiated the process of enhancing a framework for provision of water to households
in rural areas. The Department of Water, Environment and Natural Resources therefore invites
applications from suitably qualified candidates to serve as members of the Board of Directors for a
term of three (3) years.

Experience Requirements

Have at least five years’ post-qualification working experience;

Education Requirements

Must hold a relevant degree from a university recognized in Kenya;

Skills

Have high moral character and integrity;

Qualifications

Must be a resident of rural area of Kakamega County;
Satisfy the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
Participation in local development initiatives/experience as change management agent will be an added advantage.
