Pharma Export Tech Delivery & Legacy Support Lead
This role owns the delivery of new products/ projects for Pharma organisation at Sub Saharan Africa Markets and manages the performance, operations and continuous improvement of legacy application portfolio and the full lifecycle while in production. An ongoing commitment to improve the user experience, lower the cost of ownership and balancing risk is required for each application. This requires a balance of business process understanding and technical breadth. The role has increased complexity of geographies, user bases (internal and external to us) and a large mix of technology and business process understanding.
Experience of product/project delivery
Experience of working closely with business on Tech-enabled transformations
a. Fit for purpose (eg easy to use and reliable) and support the evolving business processes
b. Are cost effective – Total cost of ownership is at an optimal level
c. Meets an agreed Risk Profile (eg aging of technologies, controlled regarding regulated applications, aligned with business continuity).
2. Participates in troubleshooting in applications across multiple technology domains and business areas.
3. Ensures Tech Services meet current and evolving business needs through accurate forecasting, the use of meaningful KPIs and timely Voice of the Customer (VoC) feedback
4. Supports central teams for the service management of global products locally
5. Supports global teams for the delivery of global products by coordinating the LOC teams (main big program will be transitioning from JDE to SAP from 2019 to 2021 for Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa) and delivers Africa local projects by following the Agile approach
Knowledge ITIL Support Processes
Good understanding Agile concept
Good understanding of business area strategic goals, processes and workflow, and of the Tech tools deployed in support.
Is familiar with the concepts, standards, technology, tools, processes, procedures, hardware, software and services in use for delivering information services.
Has the ability to make appropriate technical decisions, initiating action to resolve operational issues
Understanding of components of the Enterprise Architecture & ability to identify innovative ways to leverage architecture to add value to us.
Experience of systems/software development methodologies & ability to select appropriate one to meet objectives
