Should have knowledge and working experience of not less than five (5) years.
Tenure of Appointment: Six (6) year non-renewable contract.

Education Requirements

Be a holder of first degree from a University recognized in Kenya (A Master’s degree will be an added advantage)

Conveying the decisions of the Board.
Providing guidance and advise to the secretariat on matters of ethics and good governance
Day to day administration of the secretariat and welfare of Board staff.
Perform any other duty as assigned by the Board.

For appointment as the Secretary, the applicant must:

Satisfies the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution on Leadership and Integrity

Terms of Service: Full-time. Remuneration and benefits will be as set out by Salaries and
Remuneration Commission (SRC).


Should be a professional who demonstrates absence of breach of the relevant professional code of conduct.
Should be a Certified Public Secretary of good professional standing.
Should not hold any other state or public office.


Be a Kenyan Citizen.
